The journey has been a long and arduous one, no doubt. Since the inception of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences in UNIMAS in 1995 and receiving her first batch of 29 medical students in 1997. The project has been led by many overseers, many of whom have passed on to another ventures. It is only fair that that their endeavour, blood and sweat, ends sweetly with the UNIMAS Teaching Hospital erected in its place, proud and ready to serve.
